Get on a rocket ship

In her speech to the Harvard Business School Class of 2012 Sheryl Sandberg, COO of Facebook, gives some career advise among others. She quotes Eric Schmidt who told her after hiring her at Google: "Get on a rocket ship. When companies are growing quickly and they are having a lot of impact, careers take care of themselves. And when companies aren't growing quickly or missions don't matter  as much that's when stagnation and politics come in. If you are offered a seat on a rocket ship, don't ask what seat. Just get on."

She also talks about changing dynamics in the 21st century job market such as fading hierarchies and different team structures. See for yourself below.
